Week 5 Football Picks

I'm too embarrassed to publish them. Actually I didn't even try this week. If I keep winning I risk the chance of being kicked out of the football pool. It has happened many times in the past to other members that won too much. I was hoping to at least do better than I did. Hopefully I will make a comeback next week. All I have to say other than that is the 49ers really do suck!

Congratulations to Steve Young one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history whose number "8" was retired yesterday. It's too bad that the 49ers had to spoil the festivities with a loss. The records show that the 49ers usually win on a day that a former player's number is retired. Apparently this 49er's roster of players weren't told.

One more thing to say... The Miami Dolphins conquered yesterday in a game against the San Diego Chargers who were favored by 6 1/2 points. I'm not a Dolphin's fan but after a terrible 2007 season...one win against the Baltimore Ravens on December 16th last year I'm glad to see they are doing better.
